E3 2019

Post by The Watcher » Tue Jun 11, 2019 4:26 am

Final Fantasy 8 remastered announced! 7 and 9 have had this treatment and released awhile ago, but supposedly there were issues with missing source code for 8 ? making it sound like we’d never get it. Will release this year, ready to play this game on a modern console.

Next xbox details given, sounds like its using the same everything as the ps5. Sounds like next gen will be a bigger jump than current gen was from last gen, not counting the ps4 pro and xbox one x.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake relese date revealed as march 2020

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order gameplay shown, looks really good. Please don’t screw us on this EA

Cyberpunk 2077 still looks amazing, plus keanu reeves :O

lots of other stuff, should put up a list. Just going off what i remember

The end of the OG Xbox and Xbox 360 games backward compatibility program on Xbox One...only working on getting everything working on the next Xbox for now. :( 616 games, a ton of great ones, but hate to see it end.

Honestly though, MS Flight Sim blew me away. So beautiful, can't wait to get up in the air.

It is pretty stunning to look at, but is it pc only? Do you have the rig to run it on? Last i remember you didnt have a pc that could play anything modern, could be wrong or long out of date though. I still have the one i built about 6 years ago, think i posted about it here. Been in storage for the past year though, until i move

Yeah, they snuck a "for PC" in there. Console has mouse and keyboard support now so it might work on Xbox, but probably not. I've actually had a modern setup for about three years now with a GTX 1060 6gb, so I can handle 4k30 in theory (don't have a 4k screen :P ). So I'll be able to give it a go on my 1080p screen.

Yours might still be alright even at six years old. CPUs at least haven't gotten too much better.

I was more excited for the Ryzen and Navi announcement. Also PC game pass from microsoft. As for the games, I got several games I am going to keep my eyes close on: Watchdog Legion, Avengers, FF VII Remake, Cyberpunk 2077. I have skipped this generation of console, but I probably will jump in again once PS5 is released.

My build is. i3 3240 (dual core hyper threading)
2 x 4gb ddr3 sticks ram
1tb hhd
gtx 650

replaced a 2002 pc so a massive upgrade. Intended at the time for some gaming but hardly did any, i’ll stay with consoles for main gaming hardware

It'll certainly still play new games, and look pretty good at 1080p.
